I bought this to make snow-cones for my son as a fun summer treat. It works REALLY WELL and it is SO EASY! It makes a ton of shaved ice quickly and quietly, it's easy to clean and really does what it says. Definitely recommend!

This was exactly what I wanted. It is small, compact, lightweight, and easy to use and clean.
I am so happy with this purchase! I've seen lots of manual shaved ice makers, and most of them feel flimsy. This is not. Solid form, and easy to use, just a little pressure on the top piece and turn the crank and you have a nice serving with one hopper full of ice.
Works very well, so happy with this purchase. Can easily make fruit smoothies!
